Importing workbooks retains data, styling, formatting, formulas, and more. Currently, you can import Excel or CSV files, and exports from other spreadsheet software, like Google Sheets.

How does convert data?

When importing, retains data, styling, formatting, formulas, cross-sheet formulas, images, named ranges, and more. In, Excel or Google Sheets are converted to Worksheets, to which you can add views

How to Import Files from Other Sources

Here, create new workbooks from the top navigation bar NAV-BL-1.png or from directly within a workspace or folder NAV-BL-2.png.

Each button will open the New Workbook dialog where you can can create a new workbook three different ways: create a new workbook from a template, create a new blank workbook, or import an existing workbook from elsewhere. Select "Import CSV file" or "Import from Excel" from the bottom of the dialog, depending on your file format.


Clicking here will open the Import workbook dialog from where you can select the file to import, name your imported workbook, and specify the workbook owner and location.


Once you've configured these options, click the blue Import button in the bottom right corner to complete the upload process.

Which spreadsheets can be imported into allows a variety of file formats to be imported, including:

  • Excel files with the extensions .XLS and .XLSX
  • Excel templates with the extensions .XLT and .XLTX
  • Other spreadsheets with the extensions .CSV and .TSV
