With Spreadsheet.com, it is easy to import CSV files retaining all data, formulas, formatting, and more. CSV files, in particular, follow a similar import process to importing excel files.
Importing a CSV file
From your Spreadsheet.com Home page, navigate to the folder you wish to import into (for instance, below we chose our "Main Folder") and click on + New workbook , and then Import a CSV file.
From there, an Import workbook dialog box appears.
In this window, you can drag and drop your spreadsheet file into the dialog box, or you can click Select file to upload to find the file on your device.
Spreadsheet.com will only accept one file for import at a time, as you will be taken to this Workbook in the next step. Once you have dropped in or chosen a file for import, the name of that file will appear in the Dialog box:
Here you can change the name of the resulting Workbook, double-check that you are importing the right file, and have chosen the right Folder. Once you are ready, click Import to start the importing process. From there, Spreadsheet.com will take you into the spreadsheet you have imported.
Imports are currently supported for the .XLS, .XLSX, .XLT, .XLTX and .CSV file extensions.
Depending on your Spreadsheet.com plan, you will be limited in the number of rows a workbook can contain. Full details are available in this Workbook Storage and Size Limit article. Imported files can be up to 5MB in size.
