Spreadsheet.com offers many automation options to send messages, including messages on Microsoft Teams. Use a Microsoft Teams automation to let your collaborators know about new sales deals that came in, to congratulate project managers when tasks are completed, or to post about customer service requests coming in via forms.
Setting up a Microsoft Teams Automation
A variety of automation activities can trigger Microsoft Teams messages. Some automations are noted in the automation recipes section of the automations menu. But sending a Microsoft Teams message is an option when creating any trigger.
To create a new automation that sends a Microsoft Teams message, first select an automation recipe or start from scratch. In the automation configuration menu, customize your trigger, add conditions as needed, and customize the Microsoft Teams message and channel your message will be posted to.
For instance, in the animation below, we create a new automation to post on Microsoft Teams when a task in our project plan is completed. We even use column value placeholders to customize the message.
Now, whenever a task is completed the team will be notified on Microsoft Teams.
