Editing your Gantt view's appearance
In addition to editing the Project Management settings, you can configure several settings to Gantt views, including:
- Zoom level
- Taskbar labels
- Taskbar colors
- Showing dependency lines
- Showing non-working days
- and more
Some of these settings are editable in the Gantt view toolbar right above your Gantt chart.
Other settings require you to click on the Gantt appearance paintbrush and adjust Gantt appearance settings.
In the animation below, we make several appearance changes to our Gantt chart. First, we adjust the width of the chart using our width drag bar, then we zoom in from our year perspective to a month one, before going to Gantt appearances and adjusting the taskbar colors, labels, non-working days, and today line.
Note: Spreadsheet.com includes the task owner's avatar in the task label by default. To remove the owner's picture from the Gantt chart's taskbars, create a new user column and change the owner column in the project management settings. Keeping this new column blank will ensure Spreadsheet.com doesn't include users in the taskbar label.
